Dance Peninsula Ballet is a member of Regional Dance America/Pacific, an organization formed to further the image of regional dance companies, and to foster the quality of dancers and choreography. DPB received Honor Credit in 2001 and 2002.

Description
Dance Peninsula Ballet is a member of Regional Dance America/Pacific, an organization formed to further the image of regional dance companies, and to foster the quality of dancers and choreography. DPB received Honor Credit in 2001 and 2002. In April 2007 DPB participated in the RDA National Festival in Pittsburgh, P.A. In attendance were 90 companies and approximately 2,000 dancers, five adjudicators and a faculty of world renowned teachers—and honored guests of the Ballet World.
Dance Peninsula Ballet is proud of its Outreach program. Each year we invite hundreds of youth and senior citizen groups to our performances. The Norris Foundation, City of Rancho Palos Verdes, and the office of County Supervisor Don Knabe, 4th District Arts Education Partnership Program provide support for these programs. The mission of Dance Peninsula is to encourage dancers to develop to their fullest potential while inviting community involvement in the joy of the dance experience through performances and educational programs.
